Demi Lovato is taking a break in 2017. The singer took to her Twitter today, October 4 to announce how excited she was for 2017 as she would be taking a break from music and the spotlight.

This comes after people began slamming Demi for her comments in the November issue of Glamour Magazine regarding Taylor Swift. If you missed it you can check it out here.

Demi took to her Twitter after the negative comments began rolling in defending her comments. You can read what she said in the gallery below. We will have to see how serious Demi is about taking a break. A lot of stars say they are going to take a break, but we still see them all the time, so we will have to see.
