Andrew Garfield to Star in Angels in America

Andrew Garfield has landed a new role. The star has joined the West End’s new play, Angels in America, which will premiere at the National Theatre.

In the play, “America in the mid-1980s. In the midst of the AIDS crisis and a conservative Reagan administration, New Yorkers grapple with life and death, love and sex, heaven and hell.”

Andrew will be starring as Prior Walter alongside Nathan Lane, Denise Gough, Russell Tovey, Stuart Angell, Susan Brown, and Laura Caldow.

Previews will begin on April 11, 2017 and opening night will begin on May 4. Tickets will become available in January.
