Lionsgate Announces New Release Date for Films Including “Voyagers” and “Assets”

Lionsgate has announced new release dates for a number of its theatrical released. Due to COVID-19, many studios have opted to push back theatrical releases across their entire portfolios in hopes that theaters will reopen and fans can once again enjoy movies on the big screen.

Two notable titles got new release dates, Voyagers and Assets. Voyagers, which stars Tye Sheridan, Lily-Rose Depp, Fionn Whitehead, Colin Farrel, will open on November 25, 2020 and Assets, which stars Maggie Q, Samuel L. Jackson, Michael Keaton, will now open on April 23, 2021.

THE HITMAN’S BODYGUARD 2 release date has been changed to 8/20/21. It was previously scheduled for 8/28/20.
AMERICAN UNDERDOG: THE KURT WARNER STORY release date has been changed to 12/10/21. It was previously scheduled for 12/18/20.
JOHN WICK: CHAPTER 4 release date has been changed to 5/27/22. It was previously scheduled for 5/21/21.
JESUS REVOLUTION release date has been changed to Unset. It was previously scheduled for 3/26/21.
