Camila Mendes Shows Off Her Family’s Newly Renovated Home For Architectural Digest

Camila Mendes is featured in a new article for Architectural Digest. The young actress is joined by her mother as she shows off her family’s home in Florida. Highlights from their interview are below.

Camila on why she got involved with the project: “Obviously it was more about my mother, but in a way it was a family home that we were creating together. My mom really wanted me to be involved in the process, because ultimately this was a home that I would come home to for the holidays to visit my mother and my sisters. So for us to create that together was special.”

On her favorite piece in the home: “When you open the front door you see the living room right when you come in and I love that whole area. It’s got this gorgeous painting that we have had in our family for years. Growing up, I’ve seen it go from a house in Orlando to an apartment in Ft. Lauderdale—the painting has existed in so many different homes and aesthetics. For me to see this painting and this beautiful setup with the couch and the coffee table—it looks like two concrete slabs—it is so cool. It makes the space so dynamic and so chic.”
