Glen Powell Covers Cigar & Spirits
Glen Powell is on the cover of Cigar & Spirits magazine. The actor is on the cover of the magazine’s November/December issue.
Powell was on the cover to promote his new movie, Top Gun: Maverick. The movie was supposed to be released this month, but it got pushed back to May of 2022 due to COVID. When asked about his role in the movie, Powell revealed,
“My character is definitely supposed to be more mysterious for certain reasons. I would say that Hangman represents the swagger, the independence and the fun of the original movie. He’s a guy that loves flying jets, and he considers himself the greatest weapon the Navy’s ever produced. It was a fun character to play, and I got to really develop the character with Tom [Cruise]. For me, I think the character is exactly what I’d want to play when I watched the first movie.”
