Melissa Benoist in Talks to Star in Girls on the Bus

Melissa Benoist is in talks for a new role! The Supergirl star is in talks to star in HBO Max’s new series, Girls on the Bus.

Based on Amy Chozick’s bestselling book Chasing Hillary, “Inspired by “The Girls on the Bus” chapter in Chozick’s book Chasing Hillary: Ten Years, Two Presidential Campaigns and One Intact Glass Ceiling. The character-driven comedic drama series revolves around four female journalists — one of them to be played by Benoist — who follow every move of a parade of flawed presidential candidates while finding friendship, love and scandal along the way.

I really hope they make this work! I would love to see her in this role!
