She Closed The Curtain

Dakota Fanning is set to star in a new film, the big-screen adaptation of Willy Vlautin’s novel, The Motel Life!

Her co-star in the film, Stephen Dorff, who starred alongside Dakota’s sister Elle in Somewhere, recently spoke about the film at the 2011 Elle UK Style Awards yesterday, February 14. He stated, ““It’s a movie based on a novel called The Motel Life. It’s me and Emile Hirsch. We play brothers and Dakota Fanning’s in the movie as well, so I’m working with another Fanning this time, as I worked with Elle in Somewhere.”

In the film, “A pair of working-class brothers flee their Reno Motel after getting involved in a fatal hit-and-run accident.” No word on when Dakota will begin filming, but we do know that pre-production on the film has begun.

This is so exciting! I can’t wait to hear more about this role and find out who Dakota will be playing!
