We reported yesterday, July 18, that Emma Watson was in talks to star in a new adaptation of Beauty and the Beast and now it has been confirmed that the young star will indeed star in the film.
According to Production Weekly, “Emma’s new movie is officially named “Beauty” and Emma is officially listed in the cast. Denise Di Novi is producing through Di Novi Productions. The writer is Vanessa Taylor. Guillermo Del Toro is directing and Warner Brothers is distributing. Summary of the plot is a retelling of “Beauty and the Beast ” where a young village beauty is held captive by a prince-turned beast in his impressive castle. The staff has been turned into house ware, they can sing, they can dance, after all this is France.”
Does this mean that Emma will be doing a little singing???
