Emma Stone is in talks to star in the film adaptation of the Broadway musical Into The Woods!

The New York Post is saying, “Our witness said [Rob] Marshall, who brought musicals ‘Chicago’ and ‘Nine’ to cinemas, was talking to Stone about her taking a lead role in ‘Into the Woods'”.

This would be a great film to add to her resume if the RUMOR is indeed true. I would love to see if she has what it takes to be in a musical. I think she could do it!

Emma was also spotted out in New York City today, March 29, with boyfriend Andrew Garfield.

UPDATE: Deadline.com is reporting that Emma is up for the role of Nora Charles in Rob Marshall’s upcoming film Thin Man. Maybe that is why the duo met for dinner the other night, not for Into The Woods.
