Never Ever Getting Back Together
Taylor Swift sat down with ABC News about her new album, Red, set to be released on October 22. The singer chatted about her new album during a live chat today, August 13, before ABC released their video.
During the interview she spoke about how the fist single, “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” got its start. Taylor was in the studio with songwriters Max Martin and Johan Shellback when a friend of her ex’s walked into the studio.
Taylor states, “He starts talking about how he’s heard we were getting back together and that was not the case. When he leaves, Max and Johan are like, ‘so what’s the story behind that?’ And so I start telling them the story of break up, get back together, break up, get back together, just, ugh, the worst”.
The next thing Taylor knew she had picked up the guitar and started singing, “It just happened so fast. It was so much fun.” The song hits iTunes sometime tonight!
