People.com has reported that Taylor Swift has bought a vacation home in Cape Cod. Taylor has recently become quite familair with the New England vacation destination since visting multiple times to see her boyfriend, Conor Kennedy.
According to the site, she bought a house in “Hyannisport, Mass., across the street from Conor’s grandmother Ethel”. A relator confirmed the buy to PEOPLE stating, “It’s in a beautiful location and right across the street from Conor and the Kennedys. It’s a beautiful home. She got a nice home, paid fair price. The house was on the market for two to four years.”
The relator goes on to say that the the property she bought is a “13-room home overlooking Nantucket Sound with seven bedrooms and five bathrooms”. The property “…was originally listed for $14 million but was “way overpriced.” Local reports say Swift scooped it up for $4.9 million.”
For those wondering, the home is not located in the Kennedy compound. Also, isn’t this going to be a little weird if these two ever break up.
