Anything You Can Do I Can Do Better
Justin Bieber is taking on One Direction! The “Boyfriend” singer is in a heated competition with the “What Makes You Beautiful” band for MTV’s Video Music Awards “Most Share-Worthy” video.
The Moonman up for grabs is fan voted and Beliebers and Directions are taking no prisoners! Justin took to his twitter a few days ago to ask his fans to vote and later implied that the contest may not be so fair.
Justin’s manager, Scooter Braun became involved when he tweeted the Official twitter of the search engine Bing for apparently favoring One Direction over Justin. Justin’s fans also went after the MTV twitter accusing them of rigging the votes so that One Direction will win.
Justin personally took to his twitter to ask his fans for help and even tweeted a few shirtless pics to get his vid back on top. He also let the Bing and MTV twitters know that he was aware of their “biased” ways.
Justin then said that he was merely being competitive which prompted One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson to take to his twitter to ask his fans for support in the race for the Moonman, stating he, too, is competitive.
Selena Gomez piped into to lend her support to her man by tweeting, “Psh lol RT @JustinBieber: @bing I see u. it’s all good”. MTV took to their twitter to assure fans of both One Direction and Justin that all the votes were being counted and that no “rigging” was going on.
One Direction is up for multiple VMAs and is set to perform at the show. Justin is also nominated several times and tweeted that he was available to perform if MTV asked.
This all makes for some good drama leading up to the show! I’m not sure if the voting is rigged but it is certainly interesting and entertaining to see a bit of healthy competition going on.
If the boys all wanted to take it a step further they could all tweet shirtless pics and then, really, everyone wins!
The Video Music Awards will air live on Thursday, September 6. To vote for “Most Share-Worthy” vid go HERE.
