Lea Michele and Chris Colfer’s characters on Glee will be rocking a new style in the fourth season of the show. Glee has hired a new costume designer, Elizabeth Martucci, to take over the role and revamp their characters styles.

In this fourth season, Chris’ character, Kurt, according to Martucci “…dressed him in Balenciaga, Hugo Boss and Dior and also brought back pieces like his hippo brooch to remind him of where he’s come from.”

Lea’s character, Rachel, will kick off the season, wearing “A little bit of East coast prep with the berets and knee socks and other fun elements”. But throughout the season we will see a change.

“Her outfits become more sophisticated and body-conscious. Once she makes the transition, you’ll see her wearing edgier clothes from lines like Trina Turk, Rag & Bone and Alexander Wang.”

The new season will kick off on September 13.
