One Direction won big at the 2012 Video Music Awards held last night, September 6, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The band took home “Best Pop Video”, “Best New Artist” and “Most Share-Worthy Vid”.

Demi Lovato also won a Moonman for “Best Video With a Message” for “Skyscraper” and Demi also performed “Give Your Heart a Break” at the VMA pre-show.

One Direction performed their hit “One Thing” during the show while Taylor Swift closed out the night with her smash “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together”.
