Your Voice Needs To Be Heard

Shay Mitchell and Avan Jogia have been named as ambassadors for GLAAD’s annual Spirit Day. On October 19 the duo will be wearing purple to help “…speak out against bullying and to show their support for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) youth.”

The duo will be joined by other celebrities, companies, schools, and more to raise awareness on bullying and to show their support. The idea was started by Brittany McMillian, who “…wanted to remember those young people who lost their lives to suicide and to take a stand against bullying.”
