MTV has nabbed the official first look at The Mortal Instruments: City Of Bones. This new film adaptation is based on the young adult series by author Cassandra Claire.

In this new video, we get our first look at Lily Collins and Jamie Campbell Bower taking on the roles of Clary Fray and Jace Wayland. We also to hear the two, along with Kevin Zegers, Jemima West, and Robert Sheehan, discuss their characters, the fans, and so much more.

The Mortal Instruments: City Of Bones will hit theaters on August 23, 2013! It looks so good!!! I can’t wait to see more!
