AnnaSophia Robb talked to The Hollywood Reporter about her upcoming CW show, The Carrie Diaries. The show is based off the young adult novels by Candace Bushnell.

In the interview, AnnaSophia talked about her character Carrie Bradshaw, Sarah Jessica Parker’s iconic role of Carrie in Sex and the City, and so much more. Highlights from the interview can be found below.

On her character: She’s experiencing a different phase in her life. This is Carrie first experiencing the city and her love life and Manhattan and her family.”

On Sarah Jessica Parker: “Sarah Jessica Parker did such a beautiful job of embodying that role. That is a whole role on a pedestal all by itself, which I don’t want to touch because it is perfect and I love it. Everyone loves it,” .

 The Carrie Diaries will premiere on the CW in January!
