What A Bright Time
Sarah Hyland was interviewed by Complex Magazine and took part in the magazine’s very own version of “Would You Rather”. Highlights from the feature can be found below.
On why she’d rather be a role model than a sex symbol: “Sex has become so publicized. If you’re sexy to begin with, being a sex symbol comes with that, but by putting yourself out there as a sex symbol, you’re taking a step backward for women.”
On rather having one real friend than 30 acquaintances: “Friends are hard to come by in L.A., especially in the entertainment industry. I’ve known a lot of people who hang out with someone because they’re working on a show and as soon as that show gets canceled they find someone new. It’s sad to see, but it’s great when you find new friends.”
On what has influenced her sense of humor: “Shows like Friends, Will and Grace, and The Amanda Show, I watched all of them growing up. I never thought I was funny, but I guess my comedic timing comes from that.”
