Danielle Fishel called into the On Air With Ryan Seacrest show yesterday, December 14, to talk about her new show, Girl Meets World. The show is a sequel to the hit show, Boy Meets World.

She talked to Ryan about coming back to the show as a mom, Boy Meets World, and so much more. Highlights can be found below.

On coming back as a mom: “I’m coming back as a Mom , which is really exciting because I’ve always to be a Mom. I’m not one in real life, and when I think about back when we started ‘Boy Meets World’ in ’93 I was 12 when we started and so the idea that now I get to see another young girl the same age as I was 20 years ago starting in her own career is really exciting.”

On Boy Meets World: “We always treated the kids that were watching the show like they were smart and they could get what was going on and they understood get the messages, we didn’t have to beat it over their heads and I think people held onto that. I think every body was a little nostalgic for that family friendly innocent fun again.”
