A Few of Our Favorite Things

Day 4 of our Favorite things of 2012 is here and is focused on our five favorite songs of 2012. These are the songs that we just could not stop listening to this year.

“Fall” by Justin Bieber is absolutely one of our favorites. We love his live performances of it, we love his studio version of it, we love to sing along to it in our car, we just love it. The song is so romantic and easily our favorite off of Justin’s hit album Believe.

“Kiss You” by One Direction is another of our favorite jams from 2012. As soon as we heard the 15 second preview of this song we knew it was going to be one of our faves from Take Me Home. The lyrics are so fun, the tune is bouncy and that hook is so catchy we can’t help but scream and dance along whenever it comes on.

Our favorite songs would not be complete without a tune from Taylor Swift. It is no surprise RED is already triple platinum, there are so many excellent songs on her fourth album. However, “All Too Well”, the reflection anthem she wrote with Liz Rose, is our top pick. There is not a line in the song that doesn’t speak to us, we love it.

“Give Your Heart a Break”, Demi Lovato’s first #1 Top 40 hit, is definitely on our list, as well. This song was everywhere this year and we could not stop singing along. The music video was perfect for such an adorable, fun jam.

“Wings”, the debut single from Little Mix, is our final favorite song of 2012. The X Factor winners burst onto the scene in a big way with their independence jam. From the infectious beat to the empowering lyrics there isn’t one part of this song that we don’t love. It’s easily one of our favorite songs from the past year.
