When You’re the Best of Friends

Day 6 of our Favorite Things of 2012 and we loved the furry friends of our favorite stars this year. It seems like everyone in Young Hollywood has an adorable companion but we chose our Top 5 (and one Honorable Mention!).

Nick Jonas kicks off our list with his golden retriever, Elvis. Elvis is four years old and has been Nick’s travel companion in recent years, living in London and California with the singer.

Miley Cyrus is known for her love of pets, especially the ones she’s rescued in the past few years. Our favorite has to be Floyd, Alaskan Klee Kai, who has been with Miley since 2011. The little guy is so gorgeous with his pristine coat and beautiful eyes, he even has tried his hand at modeling!

Selena Gomez’s puppy Baylor is definitely on our list of the Top 5 Pets of 2012. Selena and her boyfriend, Justin Bieber adopted Baylor last year and the little guy has grown in to quite a beautiful dog. Plus he calls Justin and Selena his parents, how cool is that?

Robert Pattinson’s pooch, Bear, also lands on our list. Bear was rescued by Rob and quickly adopted by his girlfriend, Kristen Stewart. Robert found Bear in Louisiana and added him to the family. We love Bear because he is such a happy puppy, his long tongue cracks us up.

Our final pet is Taylor Swift’s cat, Meredith. Taylor named the cat after her favorite character on her favorite show Grey’s Anatomy. Meredith is Taylor’s constant companion, featuring in several of Taylor’s pictures and videos. Meredith and Taylor make an adorable pair!

An honorable mention has to be given to Nina Dobrev and her cat Jama-Lynx. The name alone is awesome but the cat, who also belongs to Ian Somerhalder, is one cute kitty.
