Harry Styles had to wait a little bit longer than anticipated to be reunited with his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, yesterday, December 28. The singer was hoping to catch a late morning flight out of Heathrow Airport when his plans were grounded by the absence of his passport.

It seems Harry, a member of One Direction, left his passport at home in Holmes Chapel, a few hours away from the airport. The singer, who was dropped off at the airport by his mother, did some quick thinking and had a messenger bring his passport to him.

Harry had to wait around at the airport for a few hours before he finally caught a later flight to the United States where he has met up with Taylor. She is set to perform in Times Square as part of Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve on Monday evening, December 31.

The couple, who spent a romantic few days skiing in Utah prior to the Christmas holiday, began dating in the fall and have been practically inseparable since going public with the relationship earlier this month!

Maybe Harry and Taylor will share a special New Year’s Eve kiss during the broadcast! It’d be so cute!
