Harry Styles and Taylor Swift split earlier this month after a dramatic blow-out in Virgin Gorda, British Virgin Islands. According to US Weekly, Harry whisked Taylor to the island after ringing in the New Year in New York City.

After spending two days together non-stop, Harry opted to go out for a few hours on his own. He apparently “left Taylor on their boat for a few hours without telling her where he was going”.

When Harry returned from the bar, he found Taylor (who had been drinking, too, while Harry was gone) “crying and furious”. Harry tried to explain his absence but it only lead to their big fight with Taylor calling him a “d-ck” and accusing him of “running around with girls”.

The twosome supposedly went to bed angry and the next morning Taylor left the island. A friend told the magazine, Taylor “wanted to teach Harry a lesson…She expected him to call and apologize. He didn’t”.

Harry instead stayed in the British Virgin Islands and partied with Richard Branson and friends on Branson’s private island. Taylor headed back to Los Angeles where she was “a wreck and torn up”.

A Taylor source also shared that Harry wouldn’t call her despite her “texting apologies”. He apparently thinks Taylor is “too emotional”. The couple began dating in October and took their relationship public in December.

Taylor will next see Harry, and his One Direction bandmates, on Saturday, January 26 at the NRJ Awards in Cannes.
