In the issue, Shay chats about being friends with Ashley Benson, Troian Bellisario, and Lucy Hale, coming to Los Angeles, and so much more.

On being friends with her PLL costars: “We’re all so different. You put four girls together and it could be what everybody wants it to be — catfights and all that stuff — but we’ve never had that.”

On coming to Los Angeles: “It was like I was living in this crazy dream. They brought me lunch on the plane, and someone was waiting outside the airport with my name on a board. Everybody was like, ‘It’s going to be so scary!’ And I’m like, if anything, it’s a free trip to L.A. I never thought about the what-ifs.”
