Taylor Swift can now add Disney princess to her resume. The young star will soon be appearing in advertisements for Disney Parks as Tangled‘s princess, Rapunzel.
Shot by Annie Leibovitz, the young star joins a long list of celebrities chose to take on roles of some of Disney beloved characters. Taylor spoke about this opportunity stating, “When Disney came to me and said we want you to play Rapunzel, I was just so honored. It’s such a wonderful character to get to play, a childhood fantasy come into reality for me.”
Taylor even spoke about how Disney and its parks have been able to get her through even the toughest times. “I think about all the times me and my little brother went to Disney World and we were able to escape to that place anytime we had a hard time. Any time you’re going through something rough, you can go back into your imagination and you’re at Disney World.”
I always thought Taylor could play Rapunzel whenever I saw these ads! I am so happy they chose her!
