Freak The Freak Out

Nickelodeon said goodbye to another one of its hit shows, Victorious, last Saturday, February 2. The show was on its third season and seemed to be hitting its peak when Nickelodeon announced last August the show would be coming to an end.

The kid’s channel gave no reason as to why they were canceling the show after three seasons, but people obviously began to speculate. Was it because creator, Dan Schneider, had two new shows already in the works including Ariana Grande’s new show, Sam & Cat, or was it because someone on the show wanted to go on her own solo tour?

Ariana Grande, who played Cat on Victorious, took to her Ask.fm account saying that her new show was not the reason behind the cancellation, but that the show was cancelled because someone wanted to go on a solo tour. She told a fan, “Sweetheart the only reason Victorious ended is because 1 girl didn’t want to do it. She chose to do a solo tour instead of a cast tour. If we had done a cast tour Nickelodeon would have ordered another season of Victorious while Sam & Cat filmed simultaneously but she chose otherwise. I am tired of this bs.”

After reading this answer many fans began to believe that Ariana was alluding to costar, Victoria Justice who chose the solo tour over the cast tour. Victoria is the only cast member to be going on a solo tour this Summer.

After this answer was posted, Victoria quickly took to her own Twitter saying, “Some people would throw some1 that they consider a friend under the bus just 2 make themselves look good.” This led many to believe Victoria was responding to Ariana’s answer.

Drama continued to escalate when Ariana took to her Twitter later on that day saying, “You can’t hide from the truth” sounding as if she was replying to Victoria’s tweet. Although, neither star actually calls the other one out, it is easy to assume they are talking about one another.

Ariana has since apologized to her fans on her Ask.fm account about responding to the question the way she did, but it leaves many people still wondering if there may be bad blood between the former costars.
