Danielle Campbell has joined the cast of The Vampire Diaries spin-off show, The Originals. The pilot episode for The Originals will air on April 25 as an episode of TVD.

Danielle is set to play “Davina, a young witch who has been over-sheltered by her protective caregivers”. The show “…centers on the Original family of vampires, as Klaus (Joseph Morgan) returns to the supernatural melting pot that is the French Quarter of New Orleans — a town he helped build centuries ago — and is reunited with his diabolical former protégé Marcel (Charles Michael Davis).”

I can’t wait to see how they work this pilot episode into The Vampire Diaries  Is the episode going to be told in flashbacks or are we going to get a legit episode?
