Claire Holt has landed a lead role on The Originals. Claire will join The Vampire Diaries stars Joseph Morgan and Daniel Gillies as they head to the spiin-off series.

Claire’s character, Rebekah, currently acts as a recurring character on the hit CW show, but now it seems they will be keeping the family of vampires together for The Originals. The pilot episode for The Originals will air as an episode of The Vampire Diaries on April 25.

It only makes sense to have Claire’s character on the show. I mean if you are going to have Klaus and Elijah lead the show you have to have their sister, Rebekah.
