Dreams Come True
Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift both rocked some pretty creative jewelry at this year’s Grammy functions. Taylor performed at the show while Miley hit up a pre-party.
Both stars wore jewelry specially created by Lorraine Schwartz and two pediatric patients at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C. The patients created the jewelry as a form of therapy and each piece was specifically for Miley and Taylor.
Miley’s earrings and bracelet were created by a young girl named Sammi. Sammi’s creations were made of black spinel and green garnet. The earrings are currently for sale on Charitybuzz and all the proceeds go to a grant to provide jewelry and art therapy programs to the patients at the Children’s National Medical Center.
Taylor’s champagne diamond-and-amethyst bracelet was created by a young boy named Jaimin. Shwartz revealed the inspiration behind Jaimin’s design saying, “He wanted diamonds to sparkle because Taylor sparkles”.
I love that Miley and Taylor rocked jewelry created by these young kids. This had to have been a very special moment for Sammi and Jaimin. I hope they get to create more stuff for celebrities in the near future. They have a fantastic talent!
