Vanity Fair writer, Nancy Jo Sales, opened up to E! News about her recent interview with Taylor Swift. The interview is featured in the April issue of the magazine.

In the interview, Sales revealed that Taylor lets her music speak for her personal life, why her friend dished details on her past romances to the magazine, and so much more.

On Taylor letting her music talk her personal life: “She leaves her personal life to her music, she says she won’t talk about anything personally, but you know I really kind of told her like, ‘Look, you know, let’s talk.’ And she really didn’t wanna do it, but she finally relented and said, ‘Hey, I’ll let you talk to this friend of mine if she’ll say anything.’ Which she did.”

On why her friend dished on Taylor to the magazine: “Why I think her friend was so intent on setting the record straight was that she felt that Taylor has been misrepresented in the media, because the media has been skewing everything so towards the guys’ version of the stories, not the girl’s version of the story.”
