Helping Those In Need
Daniel Radcliffe attended a charity auction for Get Connected last night, March 5, in London. The young star was on hand to help the helpline raise over £182,500 and meet Britain’s Got Talent winners Spelbound
Get Connected is the “UK’s only free and confidential helpline for young people under 25.” All proceeds made from the auction “will go directly towards providing the Get Connected helpline, ensuring that young people know that Get Connected is there for them, and expanding the team of Helpline Volunteers who provide young people with the help that they need, 365 days a year.”
Daniel spoke about his participation with the helpline stating, “It’s a great privilege to support Get Connected. Their important helpline service makes sure that young people in the UK never have to face their problems alone. Tonight I’ve been honored to meet some of their amazing Helpline Volunteers, who are dedicated to giving support for young people when things get tough”
