I Was Knee Deep

The first official stills from Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters has been released. The sequel to the 2010 hit stars Logan Lerman, Alexandra Daddario, and Brandon T. Jackson.

USA Today caught up with the Logan to discuss the sequel while on set in Vancouver last summer. Highlights from the interview are below.

On reprising the role of Percy Jackson: “It’s fun to go back to your old shoes once again and play around. And it’s always fun to have a sword in your hand, especially when you’re doing scenes which involve fighting monsters. I’m still a kid. I love doing that stuff.”

On how he has grown since the first film: “I’m a little more comfortable with the sword. We need it since there are bigger monsters. If you’re going to make a sequel you gotta scale it up a little bit.”
