Who I Was Meant To Be
Daniel Radcliffe sat down with the Daily Mail to briefly discuss his appearance in the stage production of The Cripple Of Inishmaan. Daniel is booked to play the role of Billy, a young man with degenerative muscle disease.
Daniel chatted about how he prepared to play a character with this type of disease. He stated, “I’ve been working with a consultant trainer who helps people who have multiple sclerosis, because Billy — the boy I play — is crippled in his legs and his back has gone. I wanted to find a way of conveying his illness in a manner I’d be able to perform every night”.
Daniel’s new play will begin previews on June 8 and will officially open on June 18 at the Noel Coward Theatre. You can book tickets for the show here.
