Taylor Swift is heading back to the small screen. The “Red” singer will be making a guest appearance on the season finale of New Girl.

According to EW, Taylor “will play a character named Elaine, who is an ‘important guest’ at the wedding of Cece (Hannah Simone) and Shivrang (Satya Bhabha)”. Taylor’s episode is scheduled to air on FOX on May 14.

I feel like her and Zooey Deschanel have been destined to work with one another! I cannot wait to see her on the show!

UPDATE: E! is reporting Taylor’s “…character is also Shivrang’s ex and she will try to stop the nuptials.”
