Where It Started

The promo for the pilot episode of The Originals was released last night, April 18. Airing as an episode of The Vampire Diaries, the spin-off show will feature an array of new and old stars.

In the episode, “A mysterious tip brings Klaus back to the town in New Orleans that he and his family built; Elijah learns that a powerful witch has taken Hayley; Stefan and Damon pursue their plan for Elena; Katherine makes a revelation to Rebekah.”

The episode will air next Thursday, April 25. If it is received well, the CW will most likely green-light it for a full season and it will premiere in the Fall.
