Wild And Crazy
Troian Bellisario opened up to Entertainment Tonight about the 2nd season of her web series Lauren. In the interview Troian also talked about jumping back the 4th season of Pretty Little Liars, Tyler Blackburn heading to Ravenswood, and so much more.
On the 2nd season of Lauren: When I first got the script, it was like 85 pages long, and I was shocked because I was ready to make a few more 5 minute episodes and I got this feature-length script! Then Jon Avnet [producer/director] added in combat scenes, so I was like,'”What is happening right now?!?!’
I was so thrilled to see that it explores Lauren’s home life and you get to see her relationship with her rapist. That to me was one of the most interesting things because so rarely is rape committed by a stranger. It’s usually someone the woman knows and has trusted at some point in her life, which makes the violation so much worse. So, for me, when I saw we would explore that and see both Lauren’s side of things and his side of things, I was excited.”
On Pretty Little Liars Season 4: The world is going to become much bigger — especially with the expansion of Ravenswood, and all these new characters that are going to be introduced into the vocabulary. I’m excited to explore what those storylines are going to weave into ours. Like every season, it goes deeper and darker and more into Ali’s history, which is fascinating to me. You see the girls grow and learn and I’m excited for that.
On Tyler Blackburn heading to Ravenswood: We knew that certain characters from Rosewood were going to be venturing into Ravenswood or would be finding out they were from Ravenswood, but I think we all assumed it would be newer characters, or more ancillary characters — or maybe that’s where Jenna’s disappearing to all the time. So when all of a sudden we heard it was Tyler, Ashley [Benson] and I were like, ‘Nooooooo, that’s not fair! [laughs] We want him on our show.’ But I’m excited to see what they do with the show.
