Is A Punk Rocker

The 2013 Met Gala was held tonight, May 6, in New York City. The annual event was held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and many of our favorite young stars hit the carpet to honor the new “PUNK: Chaos To Couture” exhibit.

Dakota and Elle Fanning were some of the first stars to hit the carpet. The sisters are both wearing gowns by Rodarte. I love Dakota’s dress. It looks fabulous on her. I also kind of like Elle’s dress. It is very fun!

Miley Cyrus kept with the punk theme with her Marc Jacobs gown. Her hair is so freaking spot on it is not even funny! Nina Dobrev also kept with the theme of the night in her custom Monique Lhuillier. Not a huge fan of the outfit, but I love her makeup and hair.

Hailee Steinfeld was joined by Teen Vogue editor, Andrew Bevan, as she showed off her DKNY dress. This is such a cute dress on Hailee! Taylor Swift went for a bit more of an edgier look with her gown by J.Mendel. I like the dress and makeup, but that hair has got to go.

Kristen Stewart was one of the few stars to stick with the punk theme with her custom Stella McCartney jumpsuit. Personally, the jumpsuit makes her look bigger than she is, but that color is so good on her. Jennifer Lawrence went for a very retro look with her Dior tea length dress. The outfit is not very punk, but I have to say that Jennifer looks stunning!

Emma Watson wore a very hot Prabal Gurung gown. Only Emma could look classy while showing so much skin! Ashley Greene rocked a Marchesa gown to the Gala. I want to love this outfit, but something is throwing me off. We will update as more of the stars arrive.

Lily Collins, who was joined by her man Jamie Campbell Bower, took the punk theme to the next level with her Moschino ensemble. I feel like their is way to much going on with Lily’s ensemble. However, props to her for sticking to the theme.
