Dakota Fanning was seen out with her friends in New York City today, May 23. The star hit the streets dressed in heels and jeans as she went about her day.

Dakota has spent the past year studying at New York University. The star, who is just finishing her sophomore year, has been balancing that and different movie roles for the past two years.

I like Dakota’s outfit, but her hair looks a mess. Run a brush threw it or throw it into a ponytail, don’t just leave it like that. Come on girl.
