Who I Want To Be
A sneak peek of Miley Cyrus’ interview with Rolling Stone has been released. Miley sits down with the magazine in their July 4 issue.
In the interview, Miley talks which is worse, alcohol or weed, being herself, balancing her personal and professional life, and so much more. Highlights can be found below.
On which is worse, alcohol or weed: “I think alcohol is way more dangerous than marijuana — people can be mad at me for saying that, but I don’t care. I’ve seen a lot of people spiral down with alcohol, but I’ve never seen that happen with weed.”
On being herself: “I’m too honest. But this is who I am. I can’t sing ‘We Can’t Stop’ and then be some shy, closed-off person. The reason I never really loved acting was because you can’t be yourself. I don’t want to be an actor — I want to be an artist.”
On balancing her personal/professional life: “Since I was 13, I put my work before everything else in my life. Now that I’m 20, I’m putting my life and my career at the same level of importance.”
