What I Can Do
Daniel Radcliffe attended the press night afterparty for his new play, The Cripple of Inishmaan in London last night, June 19. The party was held at the National Portrait Gallery Cafe.
Daniel’s play opened last night on the West End and the critics seem to be raving about Daniel’s performance. Michael Billington for The Guardian said, “Radcliffe also has the precious gift, vital in a play full of narrative surprises, of seeming artful and vulnerable at the same time…
He makes you care about a character who, in some ways, is a clever literary conceit…in the end, the evening belongs to Radcliffe, who has successfully escaped from the Potter’s wheel.”
While Variety’s David Benedict said, “Radcliffe considerably increases his range. Alone amid an echt Irish cast, he pulls off the accent with considerable flair, while his dance training for How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying pays huge dividends in his adroit handling of Billy’s disability”
The play is now being shown at the Noel Coward Theatre! Is anyone going to see him?
