Helena Bonham Carter has been cast in Disney’s live action Cinderella. The Harry Potter star will be playing the fairy godmother in the Sir Kenneth Branagh directed film.

Helena will join already cast Cate Blanchett as the wicked stepmother, Lily James as Cinderella, and Richard Madden as the prince. Production is slated to start later this year!

Ah! Love, love, love this! I cannot wait to see her take on this role!
