Don’t Stand So Close to Me

Harry Styles was swarmed by a crowd of fans as he returned to his hotel in New York City last night, June 29. He and One Direction played their second show at Jones Beach before having the next two days off.

Harry was immediately surrounded by waiting fans as he attempted to make his way into the hotel. After being pulled and tugged, he opted to drop down and crawl the final way into the building.

This is absolutely ridiculous. I understand the desire to see your idol but Harry is a person, not an object or a possession. It is nice of him to try and take photos, I can’t believe he even attempted to do that with the way the crowd was handling him. I’m glad he’s ok but that is very scary situation that is completely avoidable if everyone just remembered their manners.

One Direction next plays a show in East Rutherford on Tuesday, apparently Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson flew home to London for their brief break.
