Never Enough For Me

Ariana Grande recently spoke with MTV about her upcoming duet with The Wanted’s Nathan Sykes. The two musicians new song “Almost Is Never Enough” will be featured on Ariana’s debut album Yours Truly and the soundtrack for The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones.

On working with Nathan: “Nathan just sang the hell out of it. I thought it was Brian McKnight. I’m like ‘Who is this?’ Honestly I wasn’t expecting it. I didn’t know he had that in him.”

On the difference between the version on her album and the one on the soundtrack: “The version going on the ‘Mortal Instruments’ soundtrack is a much shorter version. The one that’s on my [debut] album is very long.”

On her reaction to being on the soundtrack: “It was very, very exciting. I’m just very excited for all of it. Music has been so important to me for so long, for my whole life. The time is finally here after a long, patient wait,”

You can read Ariana’s full interview here. Ariana’s new album will be out on September 3, while the soundtrack will be released on August 20. Also, apparently a music video will be shot for the song so we can expect that closer to the release of the film on August 21.
