Give It A Chance

Jennette McCurdy posted a new blog for the Wall Street Journal today, September 11. The blog talks her skepticism of dating a person you meet online and how meeting, now boyfriend, Andre Drummond changed her mindset.

Jennette kicks off the blog talking about a friend who met a guy online, began dating (before meeting), and once they met they really hit it off. Though Jennette does not say her friend’s name, I can only guess she is talking about Ariana Grande and her ex-boyfriend, Jai Brooks.

The star goes on to reveal her reservations about meeting someone online and how what her friend and boyfriend have only happens once in a blue moon.

Jennette chatted a bit about her new boyfriend, Andre Drummond. The duo met through Twitter after Andre spoke out about having a crush on the Sam & Cat star. Jennette took the risk and, “followed him back on Twitter and sent him a public message. We had a brief banter and then he sent me a private message with his phone number. Inevitably, I utilized it.”

The duo finally met when Andre visited California recently and what started off as just an online relationship quickly moved to a face to face relationship. Thus, leading Jennette to the place she is in today.
