I Can’t Give You Want You Need

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have called off their engagement and split. Reps for both stars confirmed the news to PEOPLE earlier today, September 16.

Miley and Liam had been dating since 2009 when they met on the set of The Last Song. Liam popped the question to Miley a little over a year ago and things seemed to have been going great until this past year when things seemed turn sour between the pair.

E! Online is reporting that it was Miley who decided to call things off. They are saying, “the split was ‘Miley’s decision, after coming to grips with Liam being what she believed was less than faithful to her”.

Hopefully, Miley and Liam get the privacy they deserve during this difficult time.
