White Lines On Your Mind
Emma Watson is on the cover of the October issue of The Edit magazine. Emma is in the magazine to chat about fashion and her work with the Green Carpet Challenge. Highlights from her interview are below.
On the outfit she wore to the premiere of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone: “It was a long, denim Kenzo dress, and these crazy fake-python boots. I loved it! You wouldn’t expect an 11-year-old girl to wear that. But I’ve always been adventurous.”
On why she chose to be the model for the campaign: “It just seemed like [the project] was something I had to do, something I’d been waiting for. Livia’s created a lobbying body to put pressure on governments and corporations to encourage them to have [ethical responsibility] as their baseline. It’s quite awesome.”
For those who don’t know, the Green Carpet challenge asked five British designers, Burberry, Victoria Beckham, Christopher Kane, Erdem and Roland Mouret, to create “green” dresses for London’s Fashion week. Emma is modeling just some of those creations in this shoot. You can check out those pieces here.
