From Here On Out
Daniel Radcliffe is on the cover of the most recent issue of The New York Times Magazine. Highlights from his interview are below.
On striving to prove himself in the industry: I have a massive chip on my shoulder. When you fall into something at age 11 and get paid incredible amounts of money for your entire teenage years for doing a job anyone would want, there is a part of you that thinks everybody is just saying, ‘He got there because he fell into it; he’s not really an actor.’ ”
On continuing to act even after Harry Potter: “I’ve worked every day since I was 10. I don’t know how to do anything else. There is nothing else I’d rather be doing.”
On his love for American Football: “I probably know every starting player’s name in the league. Actually, I don’t know why I’m being modest, I definitely know every starting player.”
