Liam Hemsworth helped Ashlee Simpson celebrate her birthday this past Saturday, October 5 in Atlanta. The star is in Atlanta filming his new movie, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 & 2.

People is reporting, Liam “…and three male friends arrived in time for cake (one vanilla and one chocolate) and cocktails.” A source told the magazine, “Liam was solo. Of course, all the girls in the restaurant wanted to sit close to him, but nothing. He didn’t seem interested. He just came with his boys,”.

Liam and Evan met on the set of Mockingjay. Evan is set to play Messalla in the final two chapters of the series.
