What Happened To Us

The Jonas Brothers are apparently canceling their upcoming Fall tour. The tour was supposed to start this Friday, October 11, but due to “a deep rift within the band” they have decided to cancel it.

People is reporting, “Over the weekend, an argument between the trio – Nick, 21, Joe, 24, and Kevin, 25 – regarding the direction of the band and its music led to the decision to cancel their 19-date tour, which was to kick off Friday.”

Obviously, anyone who purchased tickets will get a refund for them, but I can’t help but wonder what exactly happened to have them cancel two days before the start date? Something extreme must have gone down for them to just cancel the tour.

UPDATE: TMZ is reporting, “the rift exploded over the release of their next batch of songs.  Each brother had a different vision of where they wanted to take the band, ranging from pop to hard rock.

They all agreed on one thing — releasing anything new would be a disaster, because the style would be all over the place.”

The site also said, “the guys are meeting this weekend to try and hash things out.” I wonder what will happen to their album, V?

What do you guys think?

Thanks @demirusherjonas
