Troian Bellisario recently spoke about the upcoming Halloween episode of Pretty Little Liars. Highlights from the interview are below.

On what we can expect from the episode: “It’s a very exciting episode for the Pretty Little Liars because it’s also the introduction to Ravenswood, the spin-off series. We’ve been to Ravenswood a few times now, but we’re going to meet the cast of the new show for the first time during the Halloween episode—and then theRavenswood premiere is on right after! I think it will be the only crossover between all of our characters and all of their characters. So this is going to be a whole new world.”

On what’s next for character Spencer: “We’re allowed to know absolutely nothing. When we get to the table read is when we find out what’s happening in the next episode. However, I get a bit nosy and I poke around and ask questions. But that can be painful, too, because the writers have these amazing ideas, but they don’t always get to use them. So I think I know as much or as little as Spencer does.”

On the character’s Halloween costumes: “It’s all period costumes—Victorian and Edwardian—which fit the theme of the Ravenswood event. Definitely very elaborate. It’s a costume gala. Mandy, our costume designer, really gave it a very distinctive, lush look—very Downton Abbey! I think it’s going to make a big statement.”
